Look over your Ancient Greece Assembly Graphic Organizer


1. _5 minutes: Decide amongst yourselves who is the council member)
(remaining students are citizens) (Also decide on a timekeeper)
2. _30 minutes: Propose & Debate one law each for ISLC, South Gate,
United States, The World)

Students discuss and learn at their table.
3. _20 minutes: write down 2 Pros & Cons for each law

4. _ 20 minutes: Council Members from each table meet together and decide which 4 laws
are worthy of the entire assembly voting on. (1 from each category ONLY)
5. _20 minutes: Council Members present laws including pros and cons.
6. _15 minutes: Questions, comments, suggestions from citizens
7. _Vote
8. _ Publish vote in classroom and website.
