Students are given a blank outline map of Ancient India with which they draw their own maps utilizing 5 different maps from two textbooks to locate major elements of India's geography. Student maps also include a key, a compass rose, names & borders of modern countries, the Ganges & Indus River, 5 major ancient & modern citiies, the Indus River Civilization, waterways, plateaus, ghats, deserts, and the Himalayan Mountains.
