Students discover and study origin stories from various ancient cultures.

Objectives:

Learning in groups of 4,  students will be able to:

• draw a storyboard for a puppet show outlining an origin story

• write a script for a puppet show retelling an origin story

• create and present a puppet show that retells an origin story

• identify the common elements among origin stories from Australia,
  China, the Zulu, Egypt, Sumer, Greece, Indo-China, and the Maya.
